CSA Survivors' Forum

Sometimes just being able to know we are not alone helps even on a personals site. Should we continue in hiding or all come together and look for a way to discuss issues concerning, bothering us in relation to how our past and how it affects our present lives? Some of us are still suffering in silence which shouldn't be, we should all be able to walk tall amongst our peers for healthier relationships in the present and future.

When younger I wondered whether I was attracted to guys because of abuse I went through as a child by an otherwise "straight" cop or whether I would have been attracted to guys no matter what. I have heard from fellow survivors on this site. Different people cope in different ways. For instance, dating fears, sexual reactions or something simple like to this day I have few pictures taken of me for the fact that I was incessantly photographed naked as a youth.
